Rent Bergerac (1981 - 1991)

Bergerac is a British drama series about police officer Jim Bergerac who moves to Jersey at the beginning of the series after a rather vicious divorce that has left him combating a drinking problem. The series follows Bergerac as he joins a special department of the Jersey police in charge of investigating crimes regarding foreigners and non-Jersey residents. Bergerac is an unconventional police officer with a proclivity for women and other vices but his unconventional methods often find the guilty party.
