- Synopsis:
- Maverick cop Detective Sergeant Jim Bergerac of Jersey's Bureau des Etrangers might have one of the most scenic beats, but it doesn't make fighting crime any easier. Powering along in his triumph vintage sports car, Jim hits the trail of the island's murderers, fraudsters and big-time thieves in more all action cases. Suspended from work and single again (Two girlfriends have already given up trying to compete with the job), Jim finds himself in personal and professional crisis. Only the reassuring presence of Charlie Hungerford, Barney Crozier and Diamante Lil - as well as a partial reconciliation with his estranged wife Deborah - seem to keep Bergerac on course.
