- Synopsis:
"Beyond Paradise" follows DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and his fiancde Martha (Sally Bretton) as they leave London to navigate a new life together on the beautiful Devon coast. Our heroes are thrown in at the deep end as Martha pursues her dream of running her own restaurant and Humphrey takes up the vacant position of Detective Inspector at Shipton Abbott police station, an outpost of the Devon and Cornwall Police district. Quickly making an impression on his somewhat eclectic team; DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi), PC Kelby Hartford (Dylan Llewellyn) and Office Support Margo Martins (Felicity Montagu), Humphrey sets out to crack a host ofbaffling cases, but will his unusual methods win over his new colleagues? From an entire family disappearing into thin air to a woman who claims she was attacked by a ghost, as well as the theft of a highly prized painting and a serial arsonist case with a bizarre twist, each mystery tests our genius detective like never before.
