Sports biopic set in post-apartheid South Africa starring Lemogang Tsipa and Grant Swanby. Following a fall out with his rowing companion nine-time champion Steve Andrews (Swanby) is left without a partner for the Dusi canoe marathon. Determined to still compete in the race his colleague recommends a promising young athlete named Duma (Tsipa). However, Duma lives in relative poverty and is involved in petty crime. Initially, Duma and Steve struggle to find much commonality but in order for their partnership to work the two men must set aside their differences and work in harmony if they want to achieve their goal of winning the Dusi.
