In the heart of Kenya's magnificent Masai Mara, Simon King, Jonathan Scott and Saba Douglas-Hamilton observe the daily lives and adventures of Africa's big cats: the animals' struggle for survival - their battles for territory, the search for food and shelter and the perils of raising cubs with predators all around…
Week Four As the Maasai Mara becomes one huge kindergarten, mothers have to work extra hard to feed and protect their cubs. None more so than single lion mum Tamu, stalked by a deadly lone male lion seeking to kill all four of her cubs as he aims to father her next litter. Meanwhile, Simon meets a new cheetah, Honey, with four very cute eight-week old cubs who are learning how to fend for themselves. Cheetahs are at the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to big cats and, with "top cat" lions turning up everywhere she goes, Honey has got it all to do to keep her cubs alive. Saba is on the trail of Bella the leopard, a star of previous series but now, with no dependant cubs, Bella proves more elusive than ever to track down…It will take all the skill and expertise of the leopard team to find her and work out what she is up to!
