A riotous comedy drama portraying female friendship complicated by the realities of a serious mental illness. Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) and Eddie (Lydia West) have been best friends for 10 years, through thick, thin and multiple challenging eyebrow trends. But with their thirties looming, livelihoods in peril, and Maggie's mental health spiralling, can their friendship survive? Maggie's playwrighting career has stalled and her bipolar disorder is causing extreme mood swings, making her impulsive, even dangerous. Meanwhile, Eddie's business is on the rocks, her ex is back on the scene and being Maggie's best friend is getting harder and harder.
