Documentary profile of the legendary underground artist, writer, musician and poet, whose prolific output includes over 100 albums, 2,500 paintings and over 30 books. Director Graham Bendel was allowed privileged access to Childish's work, and the artist talks candidly about his dysfunctional childhood and the myriad influences that inspire his work, while presenting readings of his poetry and performing tracks from his garage punk albums. Also included are interviews with Childish's more famous fans and supporters, including Shane McGowan, director Larry Clark, journalists Miranda Sawyer and Matthew Collings, and singer Holly Golightly.
