- Synopsis:
- The real Billy the Kid (Roy Rogers) is killed in the opening scenes by the local Sheriff (Wade Boteler). However, a young cowboy (also Roy Rogers) shows up the next day, and is mistaken for the famous criminal, due to a close resemblance. With the Sheriffs blessing, Rogers decides to become Billy the Kid in order to help the homesteaders of Lincoln County restore law and order from the grips of the evil henchmen, employed by rich ranch barons wanting to steal their land. A fun Roy Rogers classic.
