Everyone's favourite Essex girls return with this eighth series of 'Birds of a Feather' - one of the 1990's most successful, long-running and memorable sitcoms. This release comprises all six episodes of Series Eight, originally screened in 1998, alongside the 1997 Christmas Special, also starring 'The Bill's' Christopher Ellison. Created by the legendary screenwriters Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, the series chronicles the misadventures of Sharon and Tracy (Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson) - North London-born sisters left to fend for themselves, both financially and emotionally, when their husbands are jailed for armed robbery. Having lived together for years in the neo-Georgian splendour of 'Dalentrace' - the luxury Chigwell home paid for by husband Darryl's criminal activities - things are set to change drastically for the girls with the impending release of their husbands from prison. Unfortunately for Darryl and Chris, liberty doesn't last for long, and this shift in their fortunes brings fresh problems for Sharon and Tracey. Forced to leave Dalentrace, they downsize to the less glamorous Ongar and look for work. But some things remain constant - not least the antics of their oversexed former neighbour Dorien...
