- Synopsis:
- Black Sheep Squadron (also called Baa Baa Black Sheep) is an American drama television series. The series, created and produced by Stephen J. Cannell, follows Greg ‘Pappy’ Boyington. Pappy is the CO of a group of much younger fighter pilots, who are stationed in the Solomon Islands during WWII. The close proximity of the pilots causes the occasional fight, but when they ascend into the air, they stand together. The series is based loosely on the real-life of Gregory Boyington.
