- Synopsis:
- "Black Widow" presents a penetrating look at the Dutch underworld in which choices about family, loyalty and money are made on the razor's edge. "Black Widow" takes place in the world of Dutch penoze and tells the story of Carmen Walraven (Monic Hendrickx). When her husband, a notorious drug lord, is liquidated in front of the eyes of their youngest son, Carmen makes a drastic decision... and reluctantly takes charge of the family business in order to clear her husband's debt. In doing so she soon becomes embroiled in the criminal underworld.
