To celebrate the release of 'The Curse of Blondie', the band's first new album in five years, America's iconic punk/pop band Blondie stopped in New York City to take fan requests on live television. 'Live by Request' originally aired on May 7, 2004 from the John Jay Theater in Manhattan before a live studio audience. Blondie took calls and emails from fans, including the famed director John Waters, and delivered what the fans wanted - smash hits and the latest songs from their venerable career. In fact, the evening was such a blast that Blondie stayed around after the show ended and recorded 4 additional songs, including the stunning acoustic version of "The Dream's Lost On Me", which are featured in this collection for the first time.
