- One of Valentino's best films, in Blood and Sand he plays a bullfighter in a small town in Spain where he becomes one of the most idolised matadors in his Country. The swaggering but sincere Valentino marries good Catholic girl Lola Lee. A coy innocent with bow-tie lips, but is seduced by voracious vamp Nita Naldi, a high-society man-eater who decides to add a bullfighter to her list of conquests.
