- Synopsis:
- 19th Century Korea. After a large shipment of paper, bound for the mainland, goes up in flames, it soon becomes apparent that it was an act of arson. Won-kyu, an experienced detective, is dispatched to the island to investigate, but soon finds himself faced with tales of superstition from terrified locals. With a series of cunning and grisly murders taking hold of the village, Won-kyu must work quickly to track down the killer and convince the islanders that it is a man, and not a ghost that is responsible for the crimes.
