Documentary about the early years of Bob Dylan's life and music, from his birth in Duluth, Minnesota, through school and college to his years as the bright young star of New York's burgeoning folk revival in the early 1960s, to his electric phase and the controversial 1966 world tour that had the old guard up in arms. The film features interviews with friends, colleagues and associates from that era, contributions from Dylan's biographers including Derek Barker, CP Lee and Clinton Heylin and a wealth of archive performance footage.
