- Synopsis:
Following a disastrous day at the office, Robert Askew (Bruce Jones) travels to Blackpool in order to provide his extra ordinary life with an extraordinary ending. After a hearty breakfast he goes in search of the various items he needs to give the occasion of his death an appropriate significance. But young psychology student Angela (Charlotte Jones) has other ideas and, after pulling Bob from the end of Blackpool's North Pier, introduces him to a succession of wonderful characters and magical events that conspire to turn a journey of despair into a voyage of discovery. Bob's weekend looks like it won't be turning out as he expected. But before he can start anew he must first come to terms with the past. - Actors:
