The future was brightening for surgeon Ed Betters (Joe Penny): his fame was growing day by day and he was finally starting to make a lot of money. Until the day of the operation practiced on Laura Parks (Lisa Hartman). Indeed, the intervention to exercise on the young woman had to prove benign. But an unexpected complication forced the doctor to resort to a radical hysterectomy to save Laura's life. Unfortunately, this victory against death will not bring him luck. Laura, who can never have children, turns against him and demands damages that reach an exorbitant amount. The doctor and the patient clash in court.
