Body Golf Fitness This programme demonstrates: 1. Why a golfer requires flexibility. 2. Tests to identify where you are inflexible. 3. Stretching exercises targeting only the regions where flexibility is lacking. 4. Strengthening exercises designed specifically for the golfer. Plus advice on warm up, diet, cardio-vascular training for golf and how to use BodyGolf as a rehabilitation programme following injury. Steven Harris graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1983. He started a Sports Injury Clinic in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England in 1988 where he developed an interest in the biomechanics of the golf swing. This led him to develop BodyGolf Fitness in 2003. Since then, he has worked with many golfers, both amateur and professional, enabling him to refine the programme, resulting in this comprehensive DVD. In 2004 Paul Broadhurst began the BodyGolf Fitness programme. He was 38 years old, and had not won a European Tour event for eight years, with a world ranking of 330. By 2005, he had won the Portuguese Open, which he retained the following year and by 2006, he was in the world Top 50 and missed selection for the Ryder Cup European Team, fourteen years after he appeared, by just one place. When I started the BodyGolf Fitness programme I was surprised to discover how inflexible and weak I was in some regions of my body. The improvements I saw with the programme in my flexibility and strength showed almost immediately in my results on the European Tour. It made me realise that a golfers body is the most important equipment he or she has, and if it is restricting the swing, it will limit potential. I am sure BodyGolf Fitness will help all golfers, young and old, from high handicappers to professionals, to improve accuracy and hit the ball further. Paul Broadhurst, European Tour Professional, Ryder Cup player, Portuguese Open Champion 2005 and 2006.
