- Synopsis:
- The Book Group is a British comedy series about a woman who has recently moved to Glasgow from America who decides to form a book group to find companionship in the city. The series follows Clare (Anne Dudek), who finds herself isolated after moving away to Glasgow. When she forms a book club she expects fellow intellectuals but finds herself sharing the club with an eclectic bunch of people who have very little intention on reading. However the group find comfort in each other as they share their problems, sometimes literally, and try to help each other.
