Documentary on the legendary Queen of the Iceni. The myths and romances surrounding Boudica (sometimes spelt as Boudicca or Boadicea) have long been a topic of debate and speculation among historians and archaeologists alike. Now, thanks to an archaeological dig in Norfolk, the warrior queen's secrets are slowly being revealed. This programme shows some of the remarkable treasures that have been unearthed at the dig, and looks back to the time when Rome ruled the British isles and the first rumblings of a Celtic uprising began.
