- Synopsis:
- Bread is a classic British comedy series about a family of legally challenged individuals trying to live under Thatchers governement and the dubious tactics they use to do so. The series follows the Boswell family and matriarch Nellie (Jean Boht) as she tries to keep her family in check while keeping the family fed and watered. The rest of the family pitch in through their usual tactic of benefit fraud and selling stolen goods while Nellie tries to keep the whole family out of trouble.
