- Synopsis:
- Orphan Mary Lawson (Patricia Roc) arrives on a remote Scottish island in 1900 to work as servant to the unwelcoming Macrae family. She is warned to avoid the Macraes' sworn enemies, the MacFarishes, but becomes friendly with Will MacFarish (Andrew Crawford). When Will pesters Mary, Fergus Macrae (Maxwell Reed) beats him in a fight, leading to a trial of strength between the feuding families.
