Buddha's Lost Children (2006)

Filmed over the course of a year, this compelling documentary follows ex-boxer turned-Buddhist monk Phra Khru Ba as he travels on horseback through Thailand's Golden Triangle, known for drug trafficking and violence, to help orphaned children. While inspiring the kids with his unique blend of tough love and spiritual faith, he's also built a school, an orphanage and a clinic through his Golden Horse Temple.
