- Captain Hugh 'Bulldog' Drummond was created by Herman McNeile and made his first filmed appearance in 1923. Of the several actors who portrayed the private detective, John Howard was perhaps the most acclaimed, and this collection gathers together five of his films made between 1935 and 1939.
By way of a bonus, we have also included Ray Milland's one portrayal, made in 1937.
