- Synopsis:
- Gloria Wandrous (Elizabeth Taylor) is a beautiful girl with a disturbing past. Weston Liggett (Laurence Harvey) is a philandering lawyer unhappily married into a wealthy family. When they meet, Liggett is just another notch on the bedpost for Gloria, but their relationship soon develops into something more. Will Gloria and Liggett leave their empty lives behind for each other, or will each only succeed in dragging the other down?
