Student Elen is kicked out of her room and Lea tries to restore peace by taking over Elen's shift in the Noodle bar. Here she meets Osian's lecherous father Stephen. Lea is not impressed. Osian meanwhile is very impressed by Lea. Property developer Peter Marshall is enjoying sex with Sian and flatmate Emyr seems to approve too but Peter is more concerned with family problems. He spots his sister's husband Danny kissing the young Kylie. Peter warns Danny off with a punch. Kate is not happy with her...Emyr has a visit from the police at his business Collectable Records. Their warning that a protection racket is operating in the area does not concern him. But he is very impressed by the handsome Detective Gareth Pritchard Peter and Kate renew their squabbling and Kate tells Peter she wants to sell the family house. Peter is appalled but Kate gets Sion her other brother who is in prison on side. Professor Powell invites Elen to a conference in Dublin. Fellow student Johnston can't make the conference and Powell and Elen end up dining alone. Emyr is mugged in a gay...
