The RBS 6 Nations Championship is one of the greatest rugby competitions in the world, and the jewel in the crown is the Calcutta Cup. With few victories over the Auld Enemy in the past decade, the Scots once again lined up at Murrayfield starting the match as underdogs. However, with a performance which coach Frank Hadden described as 'not far off flawless', Scotland raised their game to come out on top. Playing most of the second half in their opponents' half, the Scots smothered an England side which was still on a high from victory over a rampant French pack. With driving wind stifling the creative ambitions of both sides, the Scots stuck relentlessly to the task, eventually defeating the English by 15 points to nine, lifting their prize for only the second time this century.
