Maria Callas, the greatest diva the world has known. Set in 1970's Paris, 'Callas Forever' is an emotional and inspirational, yet fictional account of a rock band promoter who convinces the opera diva Maria Callas to revive her career through the aid of modern technology and video. Callas, who has been living a solitary life, acquiesces and the two embark on a journey of hope, discovery, passion and pain, reliving many of the moments they shared together during her extraordinary career and turbulent relationships. All Callas songs digitally remastered by EMI especially for this film from original recordings, to make full and authentic use of the legendary voice as it was in the Diva's prime.
