Canned Carrott introduced 'The Detectives', the hopeless police officers Briggs and Louis (played by Carrott and Powell), and so popular, it was successful enough to spawn a full length spin-off television series. And if that wasn't enough, every episode includes fantastic sketches from regular guests Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered, Mock The Week). This was the show that was a top ten winner every week, a wholly satisfying slice of prime time comedy entertainment.
