A longstanding voice in the fickle world of reggae and dancehall, Capleton helped to spearhead the return of dancehall to a reggae tradition, and has become a spiritual leader of sorts for the Jamaican music community. Espousing a Rastafarian outlook and influenced by the teachings of Marcus Garvey, Capleton's lyrics are incisive, uplifting, and possessed of a rare spiritual depth. His righteousness and Rastafarian mission is tempered by a popular appeal and a heavy roots foundation, which proved to be a formula for longevity in Capleton's case. This concert recorded live in San Francisco demonstrates the performer's dynamic onstage presence, and is comprised of 26 tracks.
