2068: Earth is at war with a bizarre Martian enemy - the Mysterons. Only Spectrum, the world security organisation, and its number one agent, Captain Scarlet, can hope to defend the planet against the invading aliens and stop the intergalactic war of nerves before the Earth is destroyed!
The Mysterons
Spectrum's Captain Black bombs the Mysterons who gain control of his mind for dastardly ends. Captain Scarlet is caught in the crossfire but he is brought back to life with retro-metabolic powers making him indestructible!
