- Castle is an American crime-comedy drama starring Nathon Fillion and Stana Katnic. After a serial killer starts imitating the plots of his novels, famous thriller writer and heart throb Richard Castle finds himself embroiled in a homicide investigation. Thanks to his connections with the mayor Castle starts shadowing Detective Kate Beckett after their brief meeting inspires him to base his new character, Nikki Heat, on her. Together Beckett and Castle solve homicides for the NYPD; but the mystery of who murdered Kate’s mother ten years ago intrigues Castle more than any story ever could…
