Bob Hope was a solid gold comedy legend during his lifetime and remains one of America's most popular entertainers. Directed by David Butler and starring Bob Hope and the sultry Dorothy Lamour, 'Caught in the Draft' captures the all singing, all dancing, wisecracking screwball Bob Hope at his zaniest. 'Caught in the Draft' stars Bob Hope as Don Bolton, a Champagne-swigging, womanising, egotistical, cowardly showbiz actor who will do anything to get out of being drafted into the army. That is until he meets the foxy daughter of an Army Colonel, Antoinette. Creating an elaborate hoax to fool her into thinking he's enlisted, Don actually joins the army by accident. Most people wouldn't give him the time of day, but the U.S army are about to give him a gun, a tank and the wackiest battlefield to hit cinema screens.
