'Chaindance' is the story of petty criminal J.T. Blake (Michael Ironside) and Johnny Reynolds, a young criminal (Brad Dourif), brought together in a most unexpected way-a rehab programme which leaves them literally chained together. Rae Dawn Chong is a social worker who tries to help prisoners by getting them released from prison to care for disabled patients at a local convalescent home. Michael Ironside executive produced this film, and it's good to see him getting away from pure action films, to make such an involving and thoughtful drama.
