Based on an incredible true story, 'Chains of Gold' charts the gripping tale of a drug empire built on child slavery...and the one-man war that shut it down. When 13-year-old Tommy (Joey Lawrence) unwittingly becomes ensnared in a Mafia-run child drug-trafficking operation, he reaches out to his friend and caseworker, Scott Barnes (John Travolta), to help him quit. But when Scott learns that the organisation murders anyone who tries to defect, he realises that the only way to get Tommy out...is to go in to get him.
