Synopsis:: Classic Bollywood drama starring Raj Babbar, Rama Vij, Amrish Puri and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Farm worker Harnek Singh (Khardbanda) works hard for his employer Jangirdar Joginder Singh (Puri). He is in love with Kammo (Vij) and hopes to marry her once he has enough money and land, but Jangirdar has plans of his own and while Harnek is away, he assaults Kammo. Years later Kammo's son Laali (Raj Babbar) is grown up and seeking to marry the woman he loves, but first he must confront his origins and the trauma of the past.
