- Synopsis:
Following his case in London (Charlie Chan in London) Chan (Warner Oland) flies to Paris pretending to be on vacation, he is actually on a mission to investigate a bond-forgery racket. But his agent, apache dancer Nardi (Dorothy Appleby) is killed by a mysterious beggar wearing dark glasses before she can tell him anything. Returning to his hotel room Chan is pleasantly surprised to find his eldest son, Lee waiting for him (this is the first film in which Keye Luke played the role of Lee Chan, number one son) together they take on a sinister case complicated by a false murder accusation for banker's daughter Yvette (Mary Brian) which climaxes with a strange journey through the sewers of Paris. 'Charlie Chan in Paris' is considered to be one of the very best in the Warner Oland series of Chan films. As Chan himself said "See Paris, die happy". - Actors:
