Rent Chef (1993 - 1996)

Chef! is a British comedy series about a disgruntled and exceptionally rude chef who runs a restaurant with his wife and struggles to keep it running. The series follows Gareth Blackstock (Lenny Henry) and his wife Janice (Caroline Lee-Johnson), two determined people who work their staff to the bone yet struggle to keep the restaurant solvent as Gareth’s unusual cooking methods cause the restaurant to enter financial difficulty, something Janice is very intent on stamping out, much to Gareths knowledge.
