Tucked away in the streets of Soho, London, it regularly attracts the finest jazz musicians in the world to perform in its intimate surroundings. The Live at Ronnie Scott's Collection showcases some of the very best concerts held at the venue. Recorded in June 1986, trumpeter Chet Baker is joined on vocals by fellow legends Van Morrison and Elvis Costello for a night to treasure. Chet's delicate trumpet playing firmly established him as a distinct and even revered voice in Modern Jazz, and this concert captures his playing at its most passionate. His vocals too are an idiosyncratic delight which serve to remind the world that a truly exceptional artist he was.
