"Chicago 10" retraces the events that led up to the unraveling of the Chicago Conspiracy trial, not as history lesson but as an electrifying multimedia experience. Director Brett Morgen has skillfully interwoven footage of the brutal clashes between police and demonstrators at the 1968 Democratic convention with animated re-enactments of the outrageous, near comical trial that followed. The film features the voices of Hank Azaria, Mark Buffalo and Jeffrey Wright as Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin and Bobby Seale who, along with other activists, faced trumped-up charges.
