Rod Piazza:A California native who helped form Bacon Fat with former Muddy Waters' harpman George "Harmonica" Smith, Piazza only started garnering wide notoriety in the 1990s. The Mighty Flyers earned 14 W.C. Handy Award nominations from 1998-2000, taking Blues Band of the Year in both 1999 and 2000.
The Blues Instigators:
A four member band that has extensively toured the Midwest, performing songs "on the funky side of the blues." They are a party-rocking band with a great repertoire of old and new blues songs to keep your toes tapping all night.
