- Karl Hutton (Kiefer Sutherland) is a US soldier stationed in London during World War II, who soon falls for the charms of Betty Jones (Emily Lloyd) - a London showgirl with a dangerous mind and a body to kill for. Seduced by her romanticised vision of gangster life, Karl soon finds himself taken by Betty on a wild ride of petty crimes and good times. But this is anything but innocent fun, and as the crime spree escalates in its scale he soon finds himself facing up to the consequences of the most serious crime of all - murder.
