Graphic Medical Drama - Chicago Med: Series 3 review by DM
Chicago Med, brought to us by the same producers as Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, all of which are excellent, but Chicago Med often deals with the casualties from the other series and there is an obvious crossover. The storylines are mainly believable and the acting is mainly first class, what sets this series apart from other medical dramas is it is pretty graphic. When they show patients injuries or an operation, you feel that you right there with the Doctors and Nurses, and sometimes it gets pretty bloody.
Spoiler Alert, there is an episode in this series where some nut goes on a shooting spree and the hospital is inundated with wounded patients, decisions have to be made to suspend protocol. If you have not seen the two previous series I highly recommend them.
