Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club is one of the most famous music venues in the world. Tucked away in the streets of Soho, London, it regularly attracts the finest jazz musicians in the world to perform in its intimate surroundings. The Live at Ronnie Scott's Collection showcases some of the very best concerts held at the venue.
The natural heir to John Coltrane, Albert Ayler and Eric Dolphy, Chico Freeman rose to prominence in the 1970s as a true innovator. For this set as Ronnie Scott's, he is joined by Kenny Barron on piano, Frederick Waits on drums and Santi Debriano on double base. The music performed runs the entire gamut of the Jazz tradition, with Freeman playing Van Doren Reeds and Selmer saxophones.
