- He's Italian. She's Chinese. Their gangs are sworn enemies and they are secret lovers... caught in the crossfire. Canal Street, cutting diagonally across New York's Lower East Side, separates Little Italy from Chinatown - and the two rival gangs who rule the streets. In this modern day Romeo & Juliet, set in the tension filled atmosphere of the hot New York streets, an affair between a Chinese and an Italian can only spell trouble.
