- Chobits is a Japanese anime series set in a world where humanoid computers, known as Persocon's are part of everyday life. When a young man named Hideki stumbles upon what appears to be a malfunctioning Persocon he is told that what he may in fact have found is a rare robot known as a Chobit, thought of by most to be little more than a myth and who is able to act of its own free will.
