The story starts well and quickly introduces the main characters. The Narnia world is well done and has a believable fairytale feel to it. The computer graphics are good on the whole but there are sections that are very obvious and not as seemless as the norm today. The wicked witch is acted nicely and the children also play their roles well. As the film progresses it feels like we're being rushed into the final big confrontation. Overall a pleasant and easy watch and generally suited to all but very young children.
I enjoyed this film.
The special effects are worth mentioning though because most of the time they are very good with believable talking Beavers / Lions BUT in places the children were standing in front of very obvious 'blue screen' backgrounds, which detracted from an otherwise very slick production.
