- Filmed on the river Severn, Graham Marsden introduces us to the joys, complexities and frustration of fishing for chub. Chub remain a contradiction one day bold, ready to grab anything we like to cast them, from a single maggot to a half slice of bread, the next day shy biting, barely moving the rod top. In this exciting him Graham look at all the methods, the feeder, the bomb, the float and the baits. He talks us through his tackle and his approach to this complex character Graham has caught chub from all manner of rivers from tiny upstream stretches of the River Dane, the Dove, the Trent and the Severn. "Show me a snag", he says, "and I'll show you a chub".
