- Churchill’s Bodyguard is a British documentary television series. Using archival footage, this series, which premiered in 2005, and tells the story of Winston Churchill’s bodyguard: Detective Inspector Walter Thompson. It includes Thompson reading segments from his novel account of his work, which begun half-way through Churchill’s career, until the end of his career-active life. Excerpts are also read by John Tradewell.
