Rent Citizen Smith (1977 - 1979)

Citizen Smith is a British comedy series about a man trying to start a revolution but not really putting enough effort in to get things started. The series follows Wolfie Smith (Robert Lindsay), a petty criminal passing himself off as a revolutionary as he hangs out with a group of his friends and tries to create a new society. The series follows his many failed attempts to change the world while he also contends with his oddly supportive girlfriend and her family who have little or no time for Wolfie and his schemes.
